Have you considered just converting it over to a standalone harness and being rid of all the extra bullshit?

Only thing I don't know is if you are still trying to use bcm functions that may not be an option.

When I think of your truck I put it into a category closer to mine than a normal street truck. That said, you could convert the harness over to a stand alone to make that all very simple and modular. Then wire the rest of the truck old school style and be rid of all the bull **** you don't need. You can still have your power windows, locks, lights, blinkers, horn and all that ****....you'd just do it on it's own circuit board. Thats how mine is done. I only retained power windows, lights (drl's, park, low beam, high beam, fog, license plate and brake lights). I did not add a circuit for the blinkers. I kept the speakers in the truck in the event that one day I want to put it back on the street......and I'll just use an aftermarket head unit.

Hadn't thought about it but if I can't get it working with a new fuse box that will be my next option. I want to be able to have a complete working truck with the gauge cluster, lights and ac. The truck has manual windows with power locks.

How did you go about getting everything on a different circuit? I wouldn't even know own where to start with that

Either Re-Pin a later 03-up harness or use one from an 03-up Van as they were DBC.

The 99-02 will not communicate properly. You might also be able to repin that as well to work with the 03- up computer.

I stripped every single wire out of my truck and started fresh. Made my own fuse/relay panels, added all the necessary switches and wired the whole thing myself. I have about $2000 in wire crimping tools a miles of different colored/gauged txl wire that I used. It was a major undertaking in the beginning as just starting to think about can make your head spin. I also forgot to mention, I ran my fuel pumps, water pump, intercooler pump, transbrake and rad fan as part of the custom truck harness (those items where kept separate from the engine management system). First thing I did was buy an inductive tool to measure the load draw (amps) of each component and sized the circuit accordingly. It was a lot of work, but turned out really nice in the end and every thing worked flawlessly.

To get around the gauge issue, I first gutted a stock cluster and installed all the necessary autometer gauges, then in the end decided that I didn't need all that jazz as it was being data logged anyway. So I just put 3 gauges up on the pillar (fuel press, oil press, afr) and mounted a tack w/shift like in the factory cluster.

If you would like to do something similar, let me know and I'll quote you a price.
