get a mechanical gauge hooked up in the factory location in the beginning to make sure it isn't a gauge or wiring issue.

Just to back up a little bit about staging. The way I always did it was to light the first light, get on the brake and bring the boost up to 1-2psi. Not enough to make things get hot but just enough to get the turbo speed somewhat high since boost is exponential with the speed. Going from 0-2psi might take 3 seconds, but 2-12psi might be 1 second, for example. I would wait for the other guy to light both beams then I would get on the 2 step and roll into the second beam. Easier on the foot brake but you can use a bump box with a trans brake to do the same thing without having to worry about burning down. Footbrake should be able to hold 1-2psi even on a 2wd truck.

Good info thanks! Now if only i could get this bitch fired up

Went today to get a oil pressure gauge and none at the auto zone/oriellys would have worked needed the adapter. So i ordered the adapter and a gauge off amazon.

In the mean time i put the plugs/wires in and slapped together the wiring (looks shitty right now once it fires ill take it off and route it the best i can)

Also i figured out what my problem was with hptuners...I got a new pcm and tried to write entire. same error came up (Negative response). For some reason i decided to hook up jumper cables from my daily to the truck and try the tune write again...that did it! I guess the battery was too low and it was causing some type of error before it would even start writing the file.

Sounds healthy. Are you trying to get the thing done in time for the truck race at royal purple on October 22?

also it looks like all the stock body functions work with the engine on its own harness and the bcm connected to the fuse box

Suction line is easy to make. Order some fitting ans hose off the net and mock it up yourself. Mine came out perfect.
