It wasn't done to gain clearance, I just didn't like the lack of swaybar and some other quality control issues. Turns out ridetech has some of the same issues. Didn't get zerk fittings in the parts bag, chipped powdercoat, I think I just have bad luck, or nobody gives a **** about quality control anymore
edit: just spoke to technical support and these arms have Delrin bushings now, so grease zerks are not needed. So really the only defect was one small chip in the powdercoat, which I can live with for sure.

I see such poor packaging by some of the vendors it is unthinkable how much they much lose from returns and shipping costs.

In the case of the ridetech arms, it had more packaging material than I have ever seen in my life. Very well packed, but the defect was by the balljoint, so I'm assuming it happened during assembly and just didn't get resolved. It's not enough to make me send them back, but still annoying. I came from the import world, specifically Evos, and companies like ETS, STM, AMS, etc... You ordered a part and it looked better than the pictures when it arrived

I just bought a set of djm upper and lower control arms for my obs build and one of the lower ones has a 2" section at the ball joint that the powder coating is chipped only good thing is I don't like the color so iam going to powdercoat them myself

Since I had a new ACDelco master cylinder on my parts shelf, I figured I would put it on
Any bets on if that was the original fluid from 2007?
Bench bleeding new one. Is it normal for the plunger to only go in like 1/8"? The instructions said 3/4"-1" but I put all 235lbs into it and it wouldnt go any further... Bubbles came out for a while and eventually it was perfect fluid with no bubbles, so I'm sure it's fine

Front suspension is done, just need to bleed the brakes and do an alignment then bolt up the coilovers. Good news is the measurement for ride height only went from 11.75" to 12.0" at my ride height, so the c205 shocks will still work perfect
