Had to throw the panels on the console and see how it looked

This is what I was referring to a few posts back. The carbon weave goes two different directions, but not sure if it's weird enough for me to want to redo it completely. If I decide to though, I have two pieces left cut to size.

Then decided to go ahead and do the side panels instead of getting dirty working on the truck

Between paint coats, I made the wiring for the clock and phone charger inside the console. The extra wire is for the clock illumination/dimmer and I think I'll grab that from the HVAC controls right above it

Decided to start the interior this morning. Did a quick test fit of the console shell

Again, your attention to detail is very admirable. Looks great so far.

Thank you,

Got the center console finished and installed this afternoon. The extra vinyl I bought from the leather seat company was thin, so it didn't work as planned because it dropped into some of the screw holes and looked bad. Decided to use black carpet instead for a little contrast

Bought a harbor freight HVLP gun

I have a silly question that maybe you can help me answer.

Were you able to pull your A Pillar trim without removing the dash cap? Was trying to do things on the Tahoe last night and for the life of me couldnt figure out how to remove the A Pillar trim, seems like its clipped to the dash cover and I didnt wanna go yanking and cracking ****, so I stopped that real quick.

If you're referring to 99-06 trucks, then there is only a clip at the top. Grab the very top of the pillar by the headliner and pull towards the drivers seat. Then, I usually press down on the dash and pull up on the pillar trim to get it out. Reverse for going back in. If you don't, it usually tears up the top of the dash
