So i havent updated this in a while...first thing is the trans. Turns out i didnt seat the converter all the way on the new shaft so i had to pull it back out. In the process of pulling it out it fell off the jack and crack the case. First time I've ever had a problem with that but I went out and bought a real transmission jack right after. So now I'm working on swapping all the internals to a new case which I think will be a good learning experience.
For those that didnt see my other thread (https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...vs1900-533795/) I decided to trade my turbo stuff for a 2.3 Whipple setup. I haven't got it installed yet but plan to turn the truck back into more of a street car than a race car so I can enjoy it more. I already have an 8 rib police set coming and plan to push this little blower pretty hard to see what it will do. I know the engine will take 25 pounds of boost so I feel pretty confident in pushing this blower.
