I hope I'm not late for work!

There any success stories of such? Someone making significant power or low times on such combo? I have never seen or heard of anybody... Just curious

Kyle and Jake (smokeshow) have tried it, but both had issues with boost control as it is hard to bypass enough air around the blower when the turbo comes online. I remember Parish (yea the truck guy) wanted to try it on a project at one point. It is relatively common on smaller engines, but not this large or this much power. Basically a lot of work with no real benefit besides being cool. With all of the anti-lag turbo techniques out there lag is not near as much of an issue as it has been in the past.

I think there will be some pretty cool compound set ups coming from factories in the future with all the push for smaller and smaller motors.
The challenge for us in the aftermarket is just as Richard mentioned... the bypass once the turbo kicks on. With blower kits as they have been designed the bypass just isnt large enough. With a fresh sheet and the intention of a compound combo it could work very well.

Actually, for the little I messed with it, I had it working pretty good! It just needs a lot of WG since there isn't a lot of back pressure or boost pressure coming from the turbo. It's there to supply volume for the blower. But once you've maxed out a blower, it's an easy way to add legs to it without N2O. It's not as good as single turbo for max power, but it makes for fun low end and much more top end over a blower alone.
Even the compound turbo system I did work surprisingly well. On a 4.8 we make almost 650 with just 12lbs of boost and had great throttle response. Was a S480 over a T60mm. It was a fun truck too since we had it turned up to 15-18lbs after the dyno! lol Enough boost to split the weld on the intercooler, lol
