So the waterpump you busted was it a reman or factory? The reason i ask is if it was reman iassume they removed the pulley to rebuild it thus loosening the press fit tolerances. I know along time ago i tried to remove the pulley on a ls1 pump. I had to weld the 3-jaw puller to the pulley to install a truck pulley. That orginal pulley did not want to come off. Just thinking out loud. That was my reasoning for buying a brand new ACDelco pump when I installed my SC.

I think it was a reman, interesting theory actually. I know trying to get the power steering pulley off that one pump I had was literally impossible haha.
I think I found the source of the misfires, looks like 2 of the wires were burned on the headers. I hate plug wires.

Well the passenger side is fine with summit wires, but the back 3 on the driver side is tight around the header. I actually have some of those Taylors and I shortened them to get the bend tighter so it clears the pipe. Everything should be good now, nothing is touching anywhere and they all have heat shields on them.

Oh the picture above is just to show how it would go with the other idler in there putting the waterpump on the easy side of the system. I would need a longer belt to wrap under the other idler. I wouldnt run it as pictured.
