just with the idle RPM and throttle body. same way it was done for years before fancy IAC motors!

You mean the idle set screw? You need something else as well, has to be some spark compensation somewhere in there...

well ill set the itming in the idle parameters, set the idle rpm in the tune and then use the set screw to get it there. works like a charm.

So I ported the IAC pathway in the entrance and exit and even drilled it out to 9/16", which I think I did it too much since now the IAC isnt able to go far enough to full seal the bypass. Its not terrible though, just turned the set screw back some. Its still loud as ****. I give up.

On another note, lets play wheres waldo!


And yes it was tac welded...

Did you turn down your idle at all? May make things better.

I remember Mike from New Era was having the problem of losing water pump pullies. He ended up going with an aftermarket pump from PRW that has a 4 bolt hub.

I also have a PRW water pump. No problems thus far but I never had a tacked stock water pump pulley come off either.
