:O

Actually I need shocks. After an out of town trip this weekend, hauling crap to the dump and picking up my wife's new recliner, I am not going to be able to live with inferior shocks much longer.

Viking, take me away.

Got some help from Kris @ The Suspension Source. See engaged her source @ Belltech. According to Belltech, people that have been removing the driveshaft to install the flipkit have experienced this vibration.

Anyway, with some helpful suggestions, I'm going to re-install the trans spacer & flip the shim. Hopefully, that solves this.

Viking shocks are on order & I also have a helper bag kit to install.

Progress.

Let me know how it rides with the Viking shocks. I'm gonna get some in the next couple of months. I have the shocks that come with the mcgaugys 4/7 drop and they are horrible. Are you going to use ur shock extenders with the Vikings? Here is my truck

Nice truck!

I've got the Viking shocks; just don't have time to install them right now.

I'm not using shock extenders, I ordered one D214 & one D220. the longer one to mount on the passenger side.

Got the shocks installed. Phenomenal difference! Rides so smooth that I'm going faster than I think I am.

So here's what I did...
Ordered four of these...http://www.summitracing.com/parts/bsn-195452/overview/. These sleeves are 9/16" ID which better fit the 14mm shock bolt shaft. The overall length is good for the lower shock mounts. The sleeves will need to be cut down to 1.325" OAL for the upper shock mount.

Viking's recommended start settings for a truck are 1C/4R. I'll probably tweek on it, but it rides so much better now.

Front struts next?

I still need to flip the shims, install the trans spacer and install the helper bags.

Exhaust looks good! I wonder how long it's going to be before someone runs their exhaust out those bumper step holes...
