I would guess its about the same as the NNBS. 4/7 doesn't seem to be a problem.

I have the belltech kit set for 3/6 and it's about 1/2 higher in the rear.

OK, so Airaid has hesitated in developing/releasing an MIT kit for the 2014. I'm completely sold on the MIT based on the results from the research that Black Bear Performance did.

So this is what I did with input from others that did the real trial and fitting...

Airaid PN 200-996 is a direct fit for the 2014 5.3L. Amazon.com: Airaid 200-996 M.I.T. Modular Intake Tube: Automotive

However, you need to customize for the PCV system.

Buy a 23/32 drill bit...23/32" High Speed Steel 1/2" Shank Drill Bit (S + D type drill) - Jobber Drill Bits - Amazon.com
Drill out the included vent hole and another on the driver's side bend.

Tap it with 1/2"-14 NPT http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Use these fittings ... Thogus Polyethylene Tube Fitting, Adapter, Black, 1/2" NPT Male x 5/8" Barbed (Pack of 10): Barbed Straight Fittings: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

And connect with this hose (cut to length) Amazon.com: Goodyear 65071 Heater Hose: Automotive

I used this spermatex to seal the fittings to the tube... Amazon.com: Permatex 82180 Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker, 3.35 oz. Tube: Automotive

Make sure your trim & file your edges after you drill and tap the holes. Clean the tube out so you don't get crap sucked in the intake.

Here's pics...

I suck.

Went to the strip tonight. I made 5 passes and the first was my best...14.757 @ 99.38mph.

Second pass was the worst...16.801 @ 97.31mph.

No traction with these crappy Yokohama tires.

I need Caltracs and better tires.
