I do not think I have ever seen anyone deal with a boost issue to such and extant. You have to take into consideration the pulley that you are putting on is based on a stock engine for boost numbers. So you have def free'd it up a great bit, therefore boost is going to vary. If the new IC didn't affect it then it is prob legit. Have you tried switching boost gauges, to see if your current one might be bad? I have been running the same belt now for over 2 years( gates HD) and I do not think I am seeing any slip, I believe I am running a 3.5 pulley, am seeing right about 13-14 on the shifts. Of course my belt is TIGHT, I am still using a stock tensioner also..

Andy, if you can find a HD belt in the size you need get one. They are much better at resisting stretch and in turn make it easier to keep your tension correct.

I have a gator back belt on it now. I got a gates belt form napa. My gauge shows 10-10.5 but the map sensor only shows about 9.5-10 then drops at 6300

MAP will never match the gauge exactly... Post up a screenshot of your boost dropping at 6300.

Ya, my MAP and gauge don't match 100% either. IIRC I think one is off by .5lb or so.
