Got the intercooler mounted

its right behind the lower grill. About 4" away from the grill so it should allow for the coolest air possible. Will eventually make a shroud to force the air strait through the intercooler. Just need a 3" 45* bend to connect the intercooler to the intake pipe.
And some nice new shiny t-bolt clamps to hold everything together

Why the switch of intercoolers? I was always under the impression those procharger cores were farely decent.

The procharger intercooler is decent. My iat went from 100 to 170 on a 9 second pull from 70-120. It was 80 outside. The new intercooler will allow the air to flow directly through the intercooler. Which will help the iat.

So when I do my 80e swap my driveshaft is going to be too long. Should I save some money and get my stock ds shortened and rebalanced or get one made? Don't plan on going over 120 which the stock one has seen several times.

Picked up the intake tube with the bungs welded in this morning. Got the iat sensor installed and everything tightened down. Still need a 1/8npt bolt for the meth injection bung to seal it up until I get the meth kit installed. But it felt good to hear the truck start again.

I would have a new driveline built. Get a better driveline of better quality than the stocker. Probably more expensive, but isn't everything when you do it right the first time?

The stock unit will probably hold since its AWD, but if it's a 1 piece you may want to consider getting a beefed up unit. It seems the 1 piece units like to let go at least on the 2WD trucks and when they do they have been known to take other thing's with it.

its a one piece. I dont plan on going over 120. Ive seen 125 on it so far and I believe the shop in Tucson can high speed balance it. I need to call the shop and see what they say. I could just have the stock one shortened and use the money saved on a set of assassin traction bars.
