Are there going to be any clearance issues with the torque arm mount tabs, or will they be removed?

There shouldn't be any issues with clearance, but damn that thing looks like an eye sore now. I'd leave the bracing on thats built around the housing, but if Madman doesn't do it, I'll probably cut the original torque arm tabs off, just to make it look a little better.

Man I mean absolutely no disrespect, BUT...aren't you the least bit worried about spending all this money and still having a 10bolt?

i would remove all that boxed in stuff for that tq arm idea. that's got to be adding some weight there.

the torqe arm tabs won't be in the way of anything, but I can see if the boss will let me cut them off, if you don't want em on there. Also, i'll have some more pictures to you soon of the plates i'm welding in to box the frame.

It was an issue of dollars and cents. I went a little over budget as it was already at the chassis shop, however I figured that while it was there it would be best to get as much done as possible, instead of making numerous trips and redo's. Once the 10 bolt goes out, I'll have the crew at Madman's build me a 9" housing that I can just basically bolt in. The extra cost of the housing, axles, center section and brakes was probably going to take me over the edge.

I agree. Let me see if they'll do it.

Steve, while your at it, Brian had mentioned that you guys were going to weld a brace across the back of the rearend. If so can yall just cut all that extra crap off? It couldn't add too much extra to the bill could it?

I'll have to check with the old man before I can make any promises.
