Small update,

I got some misc. little sutff and the last gaskets from a gm website, and im basically at the point where im trying to think of anything I could have possibly forgotten so everything goes smoothly.

- I still need to get nuts for the windage tray....does anyone know that main bolt size I need nuts for? 3/8 is too big, I think its 5/16 but not sure.
- Need to find someone local that will let me borrow a welder for a few seconds to get those broken off exhaust bolts out.

Might throw it in in the middle of August after im done with summer class before the fall.

I just south of you in Montgomery and come to Tusk-a-loosa a good bit. Especially during football season. Let me know if you need some help. I could come up and help

I will probably do the swap in Scottsboro since thats where my hoist and big tools are. I may be able to have it in next weekend if everything goes well!

Well I took the heads to a machine shop and a guy welded a nut to them and got them out, $40 well spent if you ask me. Figured out the windage tray nuts are 8x1.25 and not 10mm like ARP insisted on. I have other things I want to do first, like fuel pump wiring upgrade, fix my air system, fix trans lines.
