Back in the game. RCSB 1500 D-max swap coming...

How's this look??? I have a red wire that I never hooked up for Power to trailer brakes and I also have a brake controller harness plugged into the top left of that white distribution block.

IIRC, every harness and receptacle in the electrical center is shaped and pinned differently. I don't think you are able to plug anything into the wrong spot.
But I've been wrong before....

Got them all routed, thanks fellas
Interior is almost done. I should be able to finish it tomorrow, then on to the fun part
Swapping the wiring over was a bit of a PITA. They changed the footprint of the airbag sensor under the driver's seat, had to improvise a new stud. There are a couple of ground points that the crew cab wiring harness has that there aren't places for in the regular cab, so I had to drill a couple holes and put bolts in them to create grounds.
One question I had, since the donor is a crew cab, I have two connectors on each side of the body harness for the rear doors that I won't be using on the regular cab. I just tucked them behind the rear pillar panels. Will I have any issues like the truck thinking the rear doors are open or anything like that?
Also, the air bag sensor is actually labeled "crew cab". Why would they have a cab-specific sensor? Different sensitivity calibration or something?

I could see an issue with the door sensors and if not connected setting the door chime off. But a quick check would be to hook up a battery and turn the key on and see what it does

I suspect you will have some trouble. You may be able to simulate the doors being closed but the calibration for the airbag is different between the sizes of vehicle. You might be able to eliminate the un-needed wires and sensors and have the calibration flashed in from a regular cab d-max truck.

I'd think that the calibration in the SDM and BCM would need to match the components. In his case, it should, because he is using all of the parts from his donor vehicle. I'm guessing that GM has different components and calibrations for each of the 3 cab configurations, to deal with the different masses and inertias that happen in serious collisions.
Since he is using ALL of the parts from the donor vehicle, I don't think he will have any airbag system problems at all. Will the airbag system work as designed in a serious collision?? Maybe, maybe not. Lets hope we never have to find out.
That said, how the hell did anybody ever survive before all of this safety equipment we have nowadays? I remember when cars and trucks only had lap belts! And we're still here!
