Might have missed those classes in college..

I will just start small and take baby steps. Roger has spent tons of time getting my truck dialed in so there is not a ton I really need to do. I am more just looking forward to track days and being able to log and tune WOT more safely

Well the Center line rims are a little rougher than I thought. Looks like there will be some wet sanding and lots of elbow greese in my future.

When does the track open up there? Probably still a lot of cold air lingering around, good for making power Cold air days here are gone, at least til November

Ya picked up a large and small one. Did a small area to try it out and it works great, just need to sand them all down first then polish them up

Was in AK about a week ago and temp was half way decent, at least compared to what I was expecting. Alot colder then what I came from but.... Could be decent strip weather.

Yea I am hoping that in the morning's and evening come track time it should be in the low 60's and make for some nice passes.

Well I scrubbed and wet sanded and everything in between for about 4-5 hrs on one rim and it's about at 60% where I would want it to be. Here is a few shots of where it's at

So after spending that much time on one rim I decided I didn't want to spend half my RnR scrubbing and sanding so I remembered I had some Plasti Dip in the garage and broke that out to see what it looked like. They came out pretty good IMO and I will just run them like this till winter and then take all the time I want during the winter to sand and clean them up to like a mirror finish.

And just for comparison this is what they looked like when I got them. This is actually one of the better ones

Also noticed the previous owner managed to find the curb a few times with these rims so will eventually try and smooth those areas out as well.

Anyways I think they look good black and will look better than the stock rims and will save me weight at the track

Wow what a difference, you definitely have a lot of patience to sit and scrub those for that long. They look pretty good! By the way do you still want that exhaust?
