Just a thought.. Why wud we wanna burn e85 in a performance engine anyway? Did i miss something if i did pardon my question lol .. Wouldn't you have to burn or mix e85 with something else to get needed octane levels? Wondering...

Uh, yeah bro...you definitely missed something. E85 is much higher octane, that you can run hella timing on. Closest thing to race fuel you'll get on a pump. Maybe you're thinking that E85 is 85 octane.? It's like 110.

Sweet that helps a lot. I think I may go this route for the wiring if I can get a reply from Nelson soon.

I'm trying to do everything perfect this time around so I don't have to redo anything as the wife would kill me if I bought a new truck any time soon

Probably, they were an attachment to a post Nelson made in the veterans section on his site. I'm uploading them to Photobucket now and will edit the post.

Yup. That one going to ignition looks identical to what I did. Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

So had an eventful night tonight..

The evening started with me driving around town trying to burn off the crap gass I got a few days ago. Finally burned that off, got some fresh stuff in there and then bumped my spark tables back to what they were at before the crap gas. Was doing some data logging and watching for knock and was working on my MAF table and everything was going smooth so I figured I would do a log of a WOT pull in 4x4 before I headed home for the night.

I pull out on the the road with zero traffic. Brake stall it up a hair and let her rip. It pulls great and get to I believe 3rd gear (have to go back and look at log again) and the truck makes an interesting clunk sound/feel. I let off instantly and the truck is flashing service stabilitrack and traction control. It is also running like **** now. Worried I keep the data logging going and pull into the nearest parking lot. It's idling rough, AFR is all over the board and the traction control and service stabilitrack is still flashing.

I clear the codes for the traction control and also notice I had a code for miss fire. I am relieved cause at least that might explain the way its running and idling now. I let it sit and cool down and load up another config file I made up and monitor misfires for all the cylinders and limp the truck home. I don't know how but somehow on the drive home the stabilitrack and traction control fixed itself (or at least it appears that way and I hope that's the case) on the drive home. The codes went away and it was shifting fine from what I could tell.

I pull it in the garage and go back and look at the log from the drive home. #7 plug I don't think was even firing. The misfire count was stupid high. I was going to go to bed (it's midnight) but it's driving me nuts so I go back into the garage in my boxers and start tearing into it. This is what I found when I pulled the #7 plug.

Obviously this is not what I gaped them to originally. I am positive all my plugs were .035 when I installed the PC....

My question is what happened to cause the gap to close up like that?? I re gaped that plug and would start it back up to see how it runs but don't need to wake the wife up. I will check all the other plugs tomorrow and see what they look like.

Also I know this is corny but you have no idea how happy I was to have a problem with the truck, use a tool to diagnose it and then hopefully fix it. In the past this would have been something I would have taken to Roger and said here is some money let me know what's wrong...

Seeing and hearing that, I'm gonna say it's time to switch you to a BR7EF (3346) spark plug. I'd probably gap them at around .028"
