Nope, just the stock black one that came with it. Been trying to read up or understand the advantage of the red one and it's not very clear.

What's the main difference?

Starting to try and plan out my exhaust and looking for a little advice. My plan is 1 7/8" ARH into a custom made 4" ORY. My friend was a welder in the Navy for 5 years and now does it for a living and told me the other day he picked one up for his home so the plan is to have him help me with the exhaust.

My question is after the flange from the ORY you want some sort of flex pipe or coupler to absorb vibrations and movement right? Would this be what I am looking for??

Vibrant Performance ::.
or is there a better manufacture or cheaper option?

After the flex piece I will have a short run of 4" pipe going into this

MBRP Performance Stainless Steel Mufflers- High Flow, Straight Through Design for Less Restriction.

Plan to dump it in front of the tire. If it's way to loud dumped there I will start finding a way to route 4" out the back....

Thoughts?? is that little flex piece what I am looking for or is there a better option?

Thanks

Flex piece isnt necessary and its going to be LOUD with that muffler especially exiting at the back of the cab.

I have come to terms that 4" is going to be loud no matter what. If it's a good aggressive loud I can live with that, if it's just loud for the sake of being loud then I will want something different.

I am hoping that muffler will quiet it down some, I will hear what it sounds like on a cammed 5.3 next time home and will decide more then.

But from my research LT's and ORY going into anything 3.5" up is going to be loud.

I am on the slope for another week but will probably snag that off you when I get back.

Are you in any rush to get rid of it or is it just sitting around?
