The Kool cruise is fun. If you're gonna be in town, check it out.

Not home till the 22nd

What exactly is the Kool cruise?

Actually curious about the king of street they have also. Is that just a day competition or something you have to make all of them for the year? Was thinking it would be fun to do something more than just T/T

Schedule of Events

Local car club, and KOOL FM radio hold it as a food drive. 2 cans of food get you in, car show in Anchorage in the morning, then a couple hundred cars drive to the track & set up again. The staging lanes get opened, and you can make a pass or two.

During this event, there's alot of custom & classics, so only one car runs at a tims.

AK2 were you the one that mentioned pulling the traction control fuse to totally disable the system?

Never ran my truck down the track, always too busy with the car. But we will be at the Texas Mile this weekend and I will unhook and she what she'll do in the mile!
Those pics would help.

Can't find the damn pic and I am not home so can't walk out to the garage and look it up.

I found a site where I can download the manual and then I can just reference the drawing for the fuse box in there but it's taking forever to download. I know the fuses had to do with the ABS but can't remember the exact numbers.

Alright it took a decent internet connection at work but I got it

Made up a picture and highlighted it so it's easy to look at. I don't know what I did with the last one I made but this shall do the trick. I usually print it out and have a copy in my truck along with another check list of things to do and grab before going to the track and what I need to do once there.

What I would love to do and not sure how difficult it would be to pull off is somehow wire it so I can flip a switch and bypass all 3 of these fuses. Anyone with some electrical background know if that is something I could do or should I just stick to pulling fuses?

It would be very possible to wire in a switch. just a simple two position on/off toggle switch. All you'd need to know is what color wires you'd be after in the wiring harness going to your fuse panel. You might check the12volt.com or ask someone with Mitchell1 or alldata for some wiring diagrams. I usually go off of the12volt for under dash wiring diagrams for auto starts and interlock installs and there's good information there.
