So I was bored today and decided to cruise through the local Chevy dealer to look at the HD's cause I would eventually like a HD hood on my truck. One of the salesman walking the lot recognized me and was asking about my old Avalanche that he sold me. Proceeded to tell him it was a pile of **** and spent more time in the shop and that I got rid of it and traded it in for the Sierra I am in now. He was bummed I didn't come to him again (wanted a GMC this time around and plus their whole staff and service center sucks *****). Lithia Chevrolet of Wasilla if anyone is curious. I refuse to give them any more business.

Anyways he was trying to save face after I told him the last vehicle he sold me was nothing but trouble so he went on to say it sounds like I have a high capacity air filter in my truck cause of the whistle it was making at idle. I just shook me head and said yup, those new K&N air filters are amazing and drove off

 

Love it when people who dont know what they're talking about try to keep up with the convo... akward as hell.

 

In all fairness I would say you have a squeaky belt or a collapsed vac hose if I didn't know you were into performance stuff, so saying he's an idiot for not knowing your every mod isn't really fair. My supercharged 408 sounded like a stock 5.3 with exhaust to guys that knew what they were talking about.

true. Iv'e talked with him before and he just comes across as sleaze ball. He will tell you anything he thinks that will help him get a sale or makes him sound better.
