Finally some more progress!!!
Got the motor/trans in:

Started building hot pipes:

The turbo is gonna be way out there I know, so we'll be making some braces to help hold it. More pics to come!

I flipped the stock manifolds and placed the crossover in front of the engine. That left me with plenty of room to run a 4" dp.. Ill post some pics to give you an idea of how I routed it.

Not to hijack the thread but I saw where you were going to sell your truck. Are you keeping it now? If so lets see some progress.

Here are some pics, hope they help you out with your DP. I only have everything tacked. I'm pulling everything off tomorrow morning to tig weld it. I'll have some better pics tomorrow if you need them.

Nice build! Im boosting my 06 5.3 soon, if you don't mind sharing were did you get your oil line feed from and return line? Im thinking of setting my return line on the oil cap that's on the valve cover. I dunno if that'll work tho.

I got a Trick Performance (one of our vendors on the right hand side of the page) turbo oil line kits. You wont be able to return your oil to the oil cap unless your turbo will sit higher than the cap because the oil return is gravity fed. Unless you buy a return pump, but I see that being entirely unnecessary. Im guessing the reason you wanted to do it this way is because you don't want to tap the oil pan, well an easier alternative would be to just tap the bottom of the front timing cover and put your return line there.
