It's nice to see another OBS build. I'm thinkin of ditching my Whipple to go to a single turbo setup. Keep us updated for sure.

btw check your fuel filter make sure it's flowing the right way, then put a gauge on the fuel system to confirm it's flowing right.

Hope you get the issue figured out! Been waiting to hear that you got it fired up. All these home built systems are making me a little jealous

Well turns out the Bosh 044 in-line pumps dont really work well for gravity feed situations (or so I've been reading) although I took my pre-pump filter out and now it works, kinda for about 15 mins, I can at least drive it around for a little lol. Got a new Walbro 255 with high flow fittings from Glenns Performance on the way,and in the near future I'll have a second one on the way too lol. In the mean time here's a little teaser video lol

First off, the reason the front fender looks that way is because my brother owned the truck before I did and he was planning on repainting it, and he started sanding LOL, and the intake off the turbo, yes I know is very restrictive, but is also temporary. I just put together what I had in the shop LOL

Nice, I don't know if its my phone but it seems really quiet! I didn't even know it was on until you started reving the motor. Nice job on getting it running. Im hoping to start mine tomorrow

Yea it does idle pretty quietly! Sounds great once you rev it.

I noticed it never got into boost when revving it, is that just because there is no load or did you have the wastegate spring pulled?

Actually, I dont know why?? Driving around it boosts horribly slow, I think it just still in the tuning. I have a new 255 in-line on the way, it's supposed to be here Tuesday. I'm still on the 044 right now, it works fine for about 10-15 minutes, si I haven't really done any tuning on it. PLUS that crappy pre-turbo intake I made I'm sure doesn't help at all with spool time.. LOL

Yup, here:

Thanks!

Question... Finally got to installing my turbo kit, I see that the fitting is in the way of the bolt, did you just leave the bolt off?

Im sure he drilled and tapped the oil pan for that an fitting. That way you can bolt the pan to the block and then screw the fitting in.
