I think I would find another stock long bed frame from a junk yard (cheaper and easier to locate then a short bed) and cut it down to short bed. You did a fairly good job making a it a shortbed. My only complaint would be the rear support for the front spring hanger not being moved with the spring hanger.
Then you can start fresh with any mods you want to make from there.
If you choose to continue on with the frame you have, I would be very thorough in checking to make sure it is still straight and true.

Instead of being negative m gonna be positive:
I admire that you went out there and tried out your own ideas, but not everyone offering you advice are 20 year old kids living at home trolling threads acting like engineers. Some of the guys who posted are professional fabricators, business owners, welders, and engineers and they are trying to help, not discourage.
Good luck starting over, you have the drive and confidence that not many people do, all you need is direction, and experience.
