I should mention I didn't cut my frame and no welding was required. I don't believe in welding a stock frame.

Ill be fabricating a 2 link coil suspension tomorrow for $92

As a side note I sold my tailgate for $160
Sold my bed for $700

Bought the new drive shaft for $50
New fuel tank $50
Found a bed with tailgate and lights for $400

Found one minus gate and lights with a big dent for $150

My stock drive shaft and fuel tank is for sale for $50 a pop, no shipping.

When I said budget build I mean minimal out of pocket expense.
My Turbo will cost probably $1000 since I'm buying brand new and doing a self contained remote mount.
I've designed systems for as little as $200 before but those are low boost (6-8psi setups)

Aluminum block 5.3 engines are cheap, and lighter. I bought and rebuilt my LS1 for about $1300, keep up the good work.

Once my 2 link and coils are setup I'll be able to cut off 54" of frame rail per side and 3 cross members. that should be a few hundred lbs.

Weighed 2700 lbs with an iron 350, 14 bolt, 4wd, stock seat, and 35's on steel wheels.

Both were daily drivers.

What all was involved in relocating rear axle? I have a long bed that i would like to make short. I like to see budget builds as i have no budget and the ideas i get keep me motivated on my project
