'04 Sierra 2500hd Twin Screw Build
#1
I've been collecting parts for a while now and have finally had time to start on the install. Here's a run down of what I'm using:
Kenne Bell Twin Screw side mount
Aeromotive 340 fuel pump
LS3 42 lb Injectors
Ebay Intercooler
Truck:

Blower:

I started with the fuel pump last weekend, I used part # 11140 Aeromotive 340 that has the center inlet. Since the pump isn't as wide as the stock pump I had to slide the rubber sleeve (provided) over the top of the pump and then ziptied the sleeve so it wouldn't move. Then I just wedged the pump and sleeve down into the bucket and attached the new filter on the bottom and then slid everything into the bucket. You also have to solder on the new wiring into the previous connector that attaches at the top of the bucket.

Unfortunately the provided fuel line that comes with the Aeromotive pump is too short to connect to the fuel filter. So I made a trip to O'reilly's and got some longer line. Little did I know the guy behind the counter gave me non-submergible fuel line. Couple days later my truck dies running down the road, there was no pressure in the line so I knew that the line had come off. I ordered Gates part #27093 that is in fact submergible fuel line. Had to drop the tank again and reinstalled the new line and so far so good. Here's what the old line looked like versus the new Gates on the left:

Today I worked on getting my injectors put in. They are LS3 42lb. injectors so I had to get some 1/2" tophats from FIC along with some new bottom o-rings. Since the LS3 injectors use EV6 connectors, I had to cut the mini delphi plugs off and solder on the new EV6 plugs. Have to give props to Richard (Atomic) for figuring out the injector data:

Hopefully I will start install on the blower tomorrow, I'll update as I progress. Any questions or comments please feel free

I've been busy the past couple days...

I just finished putting the blower on about an hour ago. Install went pretty smoothly, I have been installing everything other the past week. I still need to hook up my boost gauge and go to the exhaust shop to get a bung welded in for the wideband. I'll get some more pictures and videos in the next couple days.
I have driven it around for a little bit and had my buddy hook up his HP Tuners to make sure everything seemed ok and so far so good. I never got above 45% throttle and you can really tell how much easier it is to get up to speed and maintain speed compared to stock. Got it up to almost 3k at points and it sounds pretty badas, definitely has a good whine to it. Once we get it tuned its going to be pretty fun to DD

Do you have a pic of the pump module assembly all put together, and the sock you used? I haven't put an A340 in a returnless setup yet, just wanted to get a sneak-peak. Thanks!

Thats a nice looking truck.. im intrested in the fuel pump too.. Get that thing tuned so we can get a wide open video of it.
Also if you dont mind could you take a few pics of the hydroboost on the fire wall so i can compare where my lines are with yours? I just did my hydroboost swap yesterday and i want to see if my lines are routed like yours.
Thanks

Yea that's the plan, I'm just not sure how I'm going to run everything. I haven't been able to find any pictures of someone with a side mount blower with an intercooler. But the plan is to get it tuned and running well and then plan out the IC
