I hear ya - there are more than a few down here that assume I'm not running cats because of the lope in the stroker. Last guy crawled underneath and told me I had to run converters and I told him to look closer...they're there :>)

Took truck to track with new turbo and some meth and on first base tune it ran 11.3 at 119. I was down 4-5 mph at the 8th, .2 slower to the 330 ft. Old 70mm would pick up 21 mph in big end, now its picking up 25+. Wasnt what i wanted but good enough for first passes. The tune was off a little, and it was really rich leaving at 7-8 psi. best 60ft was a 1.64. Will be taking it back soon with new tune to see how it changed things. Did the DA corrections compared to my best pass with 70mm, and it showed 11.0 at 122 with a 1.64 60ft. 70mm came out of the hole a bit stronger. More passes to come

I should have done it first before swapping turbos, but I had it apart and figured screw it. AFR that night was 10.2 at WOT, now it is 10.8, 13 degrees of timing, and 15.2 psi. Meth starts coming in at 8 psi, and full spray by 10 psi. My 2 step was still set for 3500, I was leaving at 7-8 psi. I feel like the meth starting to spray effected my launch a bit, fastest trap leaving on 2 step was 94.8 in 8th, previous best with 70mm was 98. One pass i left at 5 psi, and it trapped 97. We have done a bit tuning now on 2 step and realized it was at 12 degrees of timing at only 7-8 psi, which is where i launch it. those areas have alot more timing put in. Boost enrichment was coming in at 1500 rpm too, and now thats 3200. Hopefully the little changes will pick it up a bit.

I would probably set the meth a touch higher just to make sure it doesnt spray while the 2 step is cutting timing. Its a fair amount of liquid to spray into an engine that wont be firing. If it ramps in that fast make it turn on at 10 PSI or so. Once you launch it must jump from 8PSI to full boost pretty quick.
Does your spool feel slower? Could that be part of the slower time at half track? The launch itself usually doesn't have all that drastic of an effect on the MPH. Down 4 is kind of a lot. I would guess you could take a tad more timing than 13* at 15PSI. What size nozzle are you running? I have a 15GPH and I was able to run 16* safely with the blower making the same boost in a higher compression LQ9.
