2K's Build
Been plotting this out for a while now but just recently been pulling the trigger on the parts. Bought her back in 2011 as stock as they come, 2000 RCSB Base trim 5.3 with 100K rolling up on 180K now and she has given me no trouble whatsoever. Want a street/strip rig
Ultimate plans include: LQ4/80E with Jarret's 218/218 .570/.570 112 cam along with KB kit and a BW S475/83, rear end will get a SF 14 bolt.
Getting the HD front on
All finished up
Ended up picking up a Hydroboost unit

Picked up a LQ4 with the tranny with 80K miles out of an 04 express that will be used for the build, all internals seem good but will be sending it to the machine shop for a cleanup
Picked up the axle out of an 06 SS
Got the Cam, Pushrods, and Springs

Picked up a console a while back and just got around to painting it after multiple attempts to find the correct paint color through SEM and Dupli-Color
Here is the exact paint for the graphite interior if someone needs it
Picked up a spray gun from Harbor Freight while I was at it, it is actually a lot better than I expected

Those HVLP guns from HFT are actually pretty good.... once! lol
I've never been able to make them run a second time as good as they did out of the box, but then again, I'm no painter....
Good looking truck! Sub'd!

Well then good thing I got two! They shipped one to the wrong address but my brother in law knows them so I got it back and they sent me a new one to replace the misshipped one and thanks!

The hood is an HD hood, I don't believe it is oem though and the passenger side is like 1/4 inches higher. Not really noticeable unless you stand right in front of it and see the gap on top of the headlights but it's never bothered me.
I'm sure adjusting it would fix it
