Well... That escalated quickly. Wanted to eliminate some of the drone with the speed engineering true dual dumps. Bought a pair of 3" resonators. Well, turns out the one on outside would hit the frame brace. So now I'm working on how to extend and get everything to fit.
I'm done he says.... Enjoying the truck he says...
Also, found that neither clamp from headers was tight. Likely why my wideband and o2s had a little extra bounce at idle. Ordered better clamps for all 7 locations to replace them. Will get some pics when done
Where the exhaust dumps will determine how much drone your getting as the vibrations will bounce back from the ground and resonate in your cab. My single 3” side dump on my S10 is very quite when cruising no drone on the inside at all but loud outside.
Question for you blower guys. My AC belt (Gate K040378). Has jumped the pulley a couple times since last year when I got it back. I replaced the belt once, and also replaced the tensioner. Checked alignment on crank and AC pulleys.
Any ideas? Honestly doesn't seem to be tight on the tensioner at all, but showing this is the correct belt... Thinking about trying a shorter one just to see. Have to lookup options.
i bought an HD tensioner from Left Coast as an experiment for my burb. however GM was kind enough to install one that goes the opposite direction now.
so i have one available. new, never used. i'll try to get a pic & send it to you if you are interested.

I have a LC32 tensioner and HD belt for the blower, I am talking the AC belt.
I am ordering the HD belt for AC to try. If that doesn't work, I found smaller AC belt to try as well.
Clamp upgrade fixed my trims at idle and my WB readings under 1500rpm. So that alone was worth the work. People a right when they recommend upgrading Speed Engineering clamps.
Idle and low rpm tune likely need massgaed a bit, be pretty quick this weekend.
Exhaust quieted just enough at idle and love the new tone. Have to take on highway to see drone. TBD. Not bad for $100 investment
