Got led fogs because hids melted my housings They suck, I think I'm going to switch back to halogen bulbs all together.

 

We're they 55watt HID's??? I've had 35's in my truck since I bought it and they have done great

 

Nooo, they're 35 watt. I have a buddy running them on his denali which I think is the same housing as my z71 housing and its doing fine. I've read about some people with the z71s melting down and they upgrade to piaa housings.

 

Looking great i love my hids people say they are stupid bright lol! Were did you get the e fans were they expensive? Wonder if they are worth getting.

 

Thanks man. I got them from Roger (aklowriderz71) I think he's a dealer for performance radiator who makes pretty decent oe replacement stuff. You can find them on eBay for $100. Honestly don't think it made that huge of a difference performance wise but taking the clutch fan out made my engine bay look nicer. You also should upgrade your alternator if you go that route, supposedly the 105 amp is inadequate. There's some wiring and a harness needed but they're not too bad to do. There's a couple good threads on them.

 

Gots my heads and installed cruise control! I got a hold of a auto dimming rear view mirror with temp and compass too, Truck doesn't have the harness present though..
