I've got that same standalone nitrous fuel tank...its kick ***. After looking at these pics, I'm even closer to ordering a meth kit. lol

Meth def helps with intake temps especially 100% meth... I pieced mine system together with what I think are the best parts. I used parts from Devils Own, AEM and Alcohol Injection Systems.

I like the devils own nozzles the best with the alky control controller and pump.

I've got my tank being built right now. Still trying to decide which way to go with the rest of the kit though. Going to run something other than alky control this time. That AEM kit looks real nice. Does it say anywhere in the instructions what the controller's maximum current rating is for the pump?

Not sure ill have to check but I'm sure it can handle any of the pumps out right now without issue. It controls both the power and ground side of the pump so thats cool. The one I got has to have a vacuum source plugged into it but there another model that wires into your existing map sensor I believe. I chose the Alcohol Injection nozzles because the orifice is recessed in rather then being flat. Im sure theres not much difference in atomization but just something I would think would work a little better. Just personal preference is all. All the new systems out basically order the same meth pump and stick their sticker on it so I just went with the Devils own.

Is the 6L80 still taking the abuse like a champ? I would really like to get into a 4x4 GMT900 next spring. Even with a 5.3 and say an S476 turbo would be much fun. And if the 6L80 is still doing well in your truck with just a tune and good cooler I am very encouraged. Do you have an aftermarket convertor?

Hell yeah go for it and yeah still on the same trans it's running like a champ the tune is everything with these. I'm on a stock converter still truck runs good with it wih no issues so havnt swapped out to an aftermarket one.

Awesome. I had heard the 6L80 strength was all in the tune. Might go with a Circle D convertor, but we will see what funds look like if I even get into one, much less get it turbo'd .

awasome build. Do you manually shift the gears or you start in D postion (under WOT)?

Do you have pics of your fuel pump and regulator setup? I went through all pages and don't remember seeing it.

Thanks, when I do a dead stop race I leave it in drive, on a roll ill maually shift it, brake boost and go works like a charm with no lag.

My fuel system looks like any other flex fuel system, believe it or not im still on the stock pump. Only thing I have changed is to 85lb ID injectors. Im around 600-650hp and I have no idea how its keeping up. Im 10.5-11.0s on 9lbs on the wideband all day and I even got a new sensor just to make sure lol. Now I do spray dual #10 nozzles of water/meth when I hit 5lbs so thats helping some.
