ok so i took my two bottles in to get filled and one was bone dry the other had 5 pounds in it its a 10 pound bottle . and my local place tried to book me for 20 pounds of nitrous ? lol $95 i was like dude thats only 15 pounds wtf . Is this common practice ?

 

They are stealing your money if you paid for 20lbs and only got 15lbs.

 

thats what i thought just making sure. i have to watch the dam scale from now on shaddy people .

 

I dont know what the going rate over there is but $95 for 20lbs is $4.75 a lb, around here its only $3.50-$3.75

 

Sounds like they were trying to take advantage of you.. Ive learned to weigh mine before taking it in just to see how much I will need but also to make sure im not over charged.

 

yeah i am gunna really have to watch these guys . these guys recomend zex and tr6 up to 150 shots lol scary .

i was talking to them about tuneing and GM putting a lot of TM and he looked at me like i he knew nothing about it ? and they do dyno tuning there... sct tuning

 

In Mesa we are the only place that has the stuff always in stock without driving to Phoenix. We are $7.99 a lb and no one ever complains. Employee cost is even $5 something... Lopers a mom and pop performance shop sometimes has it but we are open 365 days a year so my manager jacks up the price.

 

Damn...glad I saw this was planning on running a 125 shot as soon as I get back.....
