Drilled and tapped threads into the frame, then threaded the bumpstop into it.

Default Lowering a 92 Flareside

As you can see my nickname is TrapperJohn and I'm from Illinois. You can call me John. As you can tell I'm new to the group. Just bought a 92 Flareside and, I'm looking for info on lowering it. I'm thinking of a 3" / 5" drop. Would a flip kit be the best way to go for the rear to get a 5" drop? Would I need to notch the frame? Or is there an easier way?

You might want to start a new thread instead of posting in one that is 7 years old.
