Default Cracked C Notch

Hey guys sorry if this is the wrong place to post this? I did not see somewhere that fit better. so i saw the gap between my rear doors and the bed was no longer straight, getting closer at the top then the bottom, this happened all of the sudden, and this is a lowered truck, not like I'm jumping it or anything. well i crawled up under and saw that on my passenger side, the c notch that was installed, all they way up the weld is cracked, thus letting my frame sag? any ideas if this is something that will straighten out once a new c notch is installed, or the current one is welded. or am i **** out of luck and this is something that could ruin my truck? thanks in advance.

That's not good. What brand is the notch? Have you tried jacking up on the very back of the frame on that side?

i don't know the brand, i had it installed by a shop a while back, and no i have not tried jacking it up. I'm away at college and where i have it parked i can not work on it. so i need to drive it about three hours home to work on it. and i don't know if that is safe at this point.

How long ago did you have it installed?
Did they provide the notch?
I'd definitely take some pictures and send them to the shop who installed it. Post them here to.

I would not drive it.
