you dont have to I am running a 9 inch rear drop with no c notch. but then again I drive slow and bottom out a bit but when I had a 7 inch drop it was all good.

i would guess you have like 1" of travel. i dont see how you dont bottom out like crazy.

haha hell yeah I bottom out like a bitch if I dont drive slow over bumps and stuff. but I know the roads pretty good over here and know where NOT to drive. Im gonna do a c notch eventually just havent gotten around to it

Thanks to yall that are posting and not giving me a hard time. I was looking for some helpful information. And yall have been a lot of help. And its all going on an 09 Chevrolet silverado.
