for starters...a custom tune any of the sponser to the right are great! Then throw some long tubes on. cam and stall, n20, forced induction how deep is that wallet is the question. how fast do you want to go? 6.0 swap maybe?

For 900 I would do the following.

Tune from blackbearperformance $200
Shift-kit and servos ~$150ish
Long Tubes and ORY $500

That is $50 under budget...

Next i would do a
CircleD Converter $650

Oh and don't do duals on a 4.8.....

Tune, shift kit, servO (you don't go into 4th at WOT anyway) yank or similiar converter. A little over $900 but that will easily get you there and then some.

I ran a 10.09 in my rcsb 4.8. all it had was cai, short headers and full exhaust. I too have 20" wheels but no transfer case I guess thats where i got you.

Go with what these guys said. Tune, shift kit and headers are the first everyone does.
