Default Bigger or Badder?

Hey, I own a 1983 c10 custom deluxe that is lowered with Cragar SS's all the way around 15 x 7.5 in front and 15 x 10 in back the only problem is that I only have a 305 in it. I dont know much about trucks sadly but im working on that. I know my 305 is down on horsepower and I was just wondering if I should spend the money to juice it back up or to just go out and buy a bigger engine like a 350 to replace it?

I wouldn't wast my time with the 305. I would go with a 350 or 83. they can be had pretty cheap nowdays.

if you are going 502 why not just do it right with that 572 crate motor... I am sure you have about 12G's sitting around. LOL... its a beast

Ha! If you got 12 G's sitting around for an engine, pony up the other couple grand and get an LS7

Those old square body chevys have tons of room under the hood.... I have even seen one with a wicked duramax making about 650 horses and 900ftlbs... nobody saw that one coming.... in reality though.... you can make a healthy 383 or get lucky and run across a 400sb and you could use a lot of your same accessories and things.... just some ides though.
