Ah man, I think you read that wrong. He wasn't calling you out, he was just saying that you didn't have to share the details if you didn't want to. Sounds like he was sympathetic to your plight.
I wrecked dirt bike about 3yrs ago, $4600 up front, but then 1yr 1day later I got a check for $4200.

You guys with trucks and considering stalls and power adders, I think the best thing for overall performance in a truck is a lower stall and a blower. Higher stalls help you get out of the hole much harder but blowers are all in off idle (screw type/positive displacement type) so the need for a high stall to roll out isn't really there.
Displacement/low end torque setups can help reduce the need too. I don't wanna come in here and make it sound like everyone needs a large stall, they definitely don't.
I'd hate to tow with a large stall, but towing with a tight stall and a blower would be sweet.
