Question Vinci asp kicker or isky for my crew cab?

Isky 212/221, .563"/.575", 112lsa should I maybe do it on a 114+4? stock48 picked this out for me and I'm thinking of rolling with it! But I always have that "what if" floating around in my mind thanks.

Which cam you guys/gals think? It's a dd all around truck fwiw.

I think that either one of those grinds would be good...I know from personal experience that the asp-kicker rocks in a 5.3 2wd rcsb. For a heavy cc, I like the wider 114 LSA like you mentioned, along with the 4* of advance. The wider LSA will allow for a slightly broader torque curve than the 112, and the 4* advance will help to bring the curve on sooner, which, IMO, will help compensate for the wider LSA (which moves the powerband more to the right as opposed to a 112)

Both would work well like Bud said. I like the looks of that Isky cam, I would give it a shot if I were you.

Could I get by using a set of 8.1 injectors and a set of 1218 springs?

Thanks again.

Absolutely...actually, you won't need 8.1 marines, as the 8.1 gas injectors (29#) should be more than adequate. tdrumm used the stock 24.7# injectors with his asp-kicker in his 5.3 IIRC, even with WCCH StageI 5.3 heads.

Good deal. I might be able to get my hands on a set of 60cc 2.5 5.3 tsp heads really cheap that came off my buddies ls1 220/220 112 cam truck. He went back to a stock cam and stock heads. He said he was tired of playing and trying to get some fuel milage now fwiw.

I've said it before, but Jarrett (stock48) knows his ****. I have had 2 totally different setups, both with cams spec'd by him and they ran very well. I know he has helped a few others on here, and their vehicles all run awesome!
