Default 4l80e 99 ext cab swap

Ok so I know the 4l80e swaps have been talked to death. So heres the question i can not find an answer to. Will my stock two piece driveshaft in my 99 ext cab bolt up to a 4l80e no problem or will i need to shorten it? Im pretty sure it needs to be shortened but Im not a 100% and have seen a couple guys swap their crew cab one pieces for ext cab two pieces.

Being that youre lowered, i would think youd need to shorten it!!
