Was Vortec Max option ever offered with single cab short box?

Was Vortec Max option ever offered with single cab short box?

Pretty much what the title asks. Was the Vortec Max engine ever available in a regular cab short box? Or did you have to get the EC or CC to get that engine?

It was available in single cab, but only in long bed.... 2500hd I believe. On the crew cab it was offered on the 1500 models.

Vortec max was a 1500 deal only, excab and crew cab. No reg cab

This is correct.... The sc 2500hd just had the 6.0 vortec
