Default Reluctor Wheel 58x to 24x

I have a LFA 6.0 out of a 08 Tahoe Hybrid. It has 18k on it. I doing to do a DOD and VVT delete and convert to LS2 but I need to change the reluctor wheel to a 24x. I have someone that's has the alignment tool and is going to change it, but my question is would ya reuse the rod and crank bearings or replace them. Nothing is wrong with them, just remove the crank and reinstalling it.

Why not just get the harness that allows you to run the 58t in our trucks?? It is not to exp, you don't have to tear into the engine

Can't find anyone running the converter box and it cost $250. It will only cost $50 for the ring and installing it without beaings.

I got the cam/crank sensor harness and the knock sensor extension harness for about $300 shipped from Lingenfelter. Makes it easier to go back to GEN III in the future if need be.

Once you torque down a bearing cap the bearing conforms to the crank and rod journals. I would never reuse a bearing that has been torqued down already. But that's me, I'm picky.

I agree with that, I wish more people were using the converter box. I've been reading good and bad with them. Some say the Lingenfelter TRG-001 is in a redesign right now and hard to get a final answer. Is there any other companies that made a module.

These are my sentiments also, but like Joe, I am very picky and ****. I know very well that these GENIII gaskets are reusable, but still can't bring myself to reuse any of them besides the valve cover gaskets...my LQ9 will be getting new gaskets all around instead of swapping my gaskets over from my 60k 5.3.

Am am getting an ly6 and ditching the VVT and bought the converter box. Itsnt in my truck yet. My installer has not had any problems with that box. He has done about a dozen swaps that needed that. I also ditched the lifters, springs and rods and replaced them with better ones. (ls7 lifters, hardened rods, pac springs.) All from SDPC
