tarinitup, just saw you are from Odessa, I am only an hour or 2 away. Nice setup btw, I just ordered a stall and a 224/224. Pm me if you are ever in the San Angelo area or the Sweetwater area. Nice truck as well!

I guess I can just hold up another week without racing so that the gears will properly break-in. Also I havent recieved the nelson tune and I don't want to mess anything up by racing so soon. Whole set up with labor was expensive for me. Ended up spending $689

My tt3000 only flashes and brake stalls to 2000 after the cam swap. Any ideas on how to fix this. Nelson made my tune more aggresive but it still can burn the tires. has this happened to anyone?

i spent about 600 parts plus install for mine. the only reason you really need a tune with the gears is to get your speedometer reading right again. i went without a tune for about 4months and nothing bad happened.. good plan breaking in the gears more, you wouldnt want to bust up that new set already just cause youre anxious

thats reallly odd that you only flash to 2000 with a 2k converter....i dont have an explanation for you maybe the yank rep will chime in. unless you lost THAT much low end power with your cam but thats not very likely

did you have Nelson add some timing in the low areas? I did this on my truck and it was a HUGE difference. I was only able to do it when I swapped cams as you did. Does the predator at least log your O2 sensors? On a NA vehicle that is probably OK. I would definately keep my eyes open for a set of LT headers. HUGE difference.

Thanks for the replies. I am ordering a retune from nelson, so I'll tell him about the low end power problems.
