Default how much bore 2003 iron 6.0L block

im tryin to decide if i should use these 2 blocks i have. how much bore can they handle? im basically lookin to use these motors in my turbo trans am. and possibly use the spare 6.0L in my tahoe with a vig2800 converter to help with towing. not that it needs it the 5.3 has more then proven itself. anyways what cubic inch is capable with these 03 6.0L blocks?

They can go .030 over pretty safely and some have even been taken to .040 over.

6Ltr blocks can go .040 no problem, anything past that must be sonic tested.

.40 is about as far as I would go, are you gonna do a stroker or what?

you can go .30 over and use a 4" crank and you will have 408. the 4" crank will drop right in a 6.0

4 inch stroker crank on a standard 6.0L bore will net you 402ci. Not necessary to bore it to get the cubes you're looking for.

Hey if you're looking to sell one of those 6.0L blocks, I'm interested!
