air fitting can be had at any autozone. just get a compression checker.

ok, so i have the w/p off, rad out of the way,rocker arms off , PRs out, but now to get the balancer off......can i use my impact to get it off as long as im careful? if not whats the bestway to to do it to keep motor from turnin? im damn close so all help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!

Make sure you use a socket or something on the crank to keep from messing up the threads.. we took it off with a ratchet/socket with ease.

so i can use my impact??? im goin to use my 1/2" impact with 24mm socket< im talkin bout takin out the crank bolt!!

oh the ballancer bolt?
yea a impact will be fine, just make sure your careful when you put it back on..

get the ballancer on then tighten up the timing cover

I used my 12" socket wrench, itll come right out

I jammed a screwdriver in the flexplate so it wouldnt turn.

whew....looooong nite. started workin ont he truck at 330 today, got the new cam in and all the springs are installed. got the front cover loosley on, need a second hand to help hold the motor from turnin so i can put on my balancer. Other than that, just everything back together, hard part is done, and so am i, updates tommorow!!
