Default Built 8.6 Silverado Rear Axle Detroit Locker Yukon Axles

I built this for my friend's truck. He smashed the front end up on the truck shorty thereafter. Insurance company totaled out the truck and I took the rear. I was going to put the locker in my H3 but I've changed my plans. All of the parts have less than 2000 miles on them. Probably less than 1500.

It's from an '04 Silverado.

I have receipts for everything but the brake parts. Everything but the axle housing, pinion yoke, and brake calipers were replaced.

Here's the major parts list with the Summit Racing part numbers:

SOLD - Detroit Locker DTL-187C148A
Yukon 3.73 Gears YGA-24158
Yukon Master Overhaul Kit YGA-14092
Crush Sleeve Eliminator YGA-55048
Yukon Axles YGA-12471369

New wheel bearings and axle seals.
GM pads, rotors, and backing plates.

Over $2000 in parts alone. I'm asking $1000 obo. I will pallet it for $50 and can ship from a business with a loading dock at buyer's expense.

I'm located in Olyphant, PA 18447.

Feel free to call or text me with any questions. 570-947-0854

Thanks

-Tom

and for what it's worth I have 4.56's and often dream of 4.88's and 5.13's that weren't largely available when I did my 4.56's... Can't imagine the hit from this motor/ Circle D 278mm "3600," (The new stall speed since improvements), to 4.88's or 5.13's!!! Pushing new 34" tall Nitto G2's.....

The 4.56's just absolutely knock these new 34"s right off the ***....ridiculously...

Kinda neat to leave the P.O. in a 5" lifted "Pickup," roll into the merge lane and smash it in 1st gear and smoke the tires for 75'..... Somewhat out of character but who cares about character any way?? LoL...
