My silverado isn't my daily, but I've used it as one more than a few times. I run a 230/236 on a 114. IMO, a 220's cam is a little small for a 6.0. Especially one with a t56 behind it.

The 90mm intake is a nice mod. Also, I'd install an underdrive pulley on the crank, while the engine is out. Not a huge gain in power, but every little bit helps.

Op started a legitimate thread. Don't know why you're shitting on it with a lame *** joke.

You don't have to run a 220s cam to keep a 6.0 streetable. Imo, you'd actually want to give up SOME low end torque in a reg cab truck. Every vid I see on here with a 220s cam, 3600 stall and 4.10s has a dig run going up in smoke.

I think he is serious. My cam is similar to an MS3 in size and it is every bit as streetable as my 225/229 was...

If he is, then I apologize on the call out. But a 248/252 duration cam in a 6.0 w/ stock heads isn't that great of a suggestion, imo.

Because there's been a lot of thread on this and things similar. When people don't use the search button, John gets angry, and you don't wanna see him when he's angry.

Actually I was bs'n but that could def be run, considering a he wants to go with a manual... There is a thing called a search feature, it works, maybe you should give it a shot.

Yah you said it
Yah some times these ?? get just a bit old. There has to be 20 of them a day?? Just do a search.. The site is old now, plenty of info, not like the beg of it, when the info was not there.. To the OP there is a WIDE variety of cams to choose, poss a few that work better then the gt cam's for a NA set up..

Hey guys I talked with Ron at Vengeance Racing and he recommended the VRX4 for my application so I think I will go with that one. Thanks to those of you who contributed constructively to my post I appreciate it.
