Default another heads intake question...

ok im needing some help deciding here i have a ext cab shortbed silverado. im swapping in a lq4 and im wanting to make 400 minimum hp im getting longtubes, tune, stall (likely 2500-3000) and the cam is 236/242 580/590 112(not absolutely set on the cam).. im just not sure what heads/intake will get me their. i have a set of ported 241's laying around but am not sure about useing because id have to mill to make power and ptv clearance? or am i wrong? should i go with a different cam? id like to stick with gm O.E. heads and not l92s... with that said id like to not drop a grand on a f.a.s.t. intake/tb. so should i go with edelbrock proflo? ls6? bbk? i dont ever plan on towing so thats not an issue. ive just been having a hard time figuring this one out

thanks in advance guys

I wouldn't put those heads on a 6l engine, look for some 243 casting heads on ebay. have them milled to get CR up to say 11.1 and haul ***!

either cam is too big for stall or stall is too small for cam, either way you want to look at it.

i thought the 241's and 243's were the same besides valves? and the biggest stall id put on it is a 3200 (its a dd) think id be fine with that?

seriously a 3000 feels no different than stock. Im running a 3800 and you can tell its in there but its not like damn what a stall! i DD'd mine for a while until i got a 30mpg car for $600. You could probably go with a mid to high 220's cam and a 3200 stall and reach your goal with a 6.0

Also beware of heads like that without a flowsheet or even specs from a manufacturer
