Default how to run a fast lsxr 102 with lq4 truck accesories?

Well i hav been tossing around the idea for a wile now and i defintiley am going to run l92s but i want to run the lsxr fast 102 for the ls3's...has ne1 done this or hav ne idea as to how to do this??? i want to get the lsxr 102 for the ls3 because i am honestly looking to swap over to an l92 or ls3 later down the road and would be a nice upgrade to already have the fast lsxr 102 and l92's...Also another question i was going to ask wuz if i get an ls3 how come i cant run the ls3 with the car accesories in my truck?? i know it mite be a dumb question but just curious as to why i cant just get an ls3 and not hav to get the l92 for the truck accesories...?

Not to **** out your fire but... Wern't you just looking for a boost setup?? Unless you can find a used lsxr intake, I would keep looking for a boost set up.. You will be able to get one for not much more then that intake set up, would not have to do any relocating of accessories.. Just my op..

check it out, fast 102 hooked up to a turbo=pretty good gains... im still going with a boost setup just looking for a setup to be able to use later down the road...definitely will be going turbo just want to run l92s and a fast lsxr with stock lq4 internals..im still looking for a turbo setup no doubt...its pointless to go na for me...the only way to go fast and not hav a real radical high cp engine that u can barely drive around is to go turbo...but i know wut u mean tarinitup1 always tells me just to run a vic jr with a turbo since it could cost around 500 for a complete used setup instead of spending around 1800 on an intake that cant really handle to much boost...but still curious as to how to make the car 102 work with truck accesories...

If you just want the intake for cool factor then fine, but if you want it for performance I feel you are wasting your time at the moment. If you are going to have a stock shortblock then that will be your limiting factor, not your intake. Having boost you can always add a couple psi to get more power, spending all that cash on that intake vs. just raising the boost a bit doesn't seem logical to me. I could understand if you were going all out and looking for every last HP or building a show vehicle but if not then.....I wouldn't bother. For that matter, the amount that intake and everything will cost would put a nice dent in the cost of a built shortblock.

You are not pushing boost through it... No doubt its a nice intake and its posting good gains but with boost you can get the same power with a little more boost. I am quite certain you know what I ment.....

Its just that if someone is asking questions about different setups and seem uncertain in the direction they are going, I am just trying to clarify that nothing special is needed intake wise to make good power.

hmm i thought i remember people running just the 07+ waterpump and having it fit. You will need a idler pulley relocation bracket and trim the alternator bracket.
