Boosted2007- for reference your cam is -6 overlap, so 9 deg overlap less. That’s significant.

All your map code threasholds will need adjusted.
2008 suburban 5.3. Has exhaust other than that it is stock. Stock stall, was told it wouldnt need a higher stall then i notice a week after i had installed it btr puts note on their website that it may need higher stall to consult with tuner. Fabulous

How did you figure out the overlap #? I cant find any other info on this cam other than what i posted above

Btr customer service is great! I just talked to there technical support and i should have never been recomended that camshaft. They are swapping me out with a btr stage 1 truck cam.

Zero codes. It's tuned.

I go back to the issue being with the tuner.
Correct, but that cam is horrible for his combo. A Suburban with a 5.3 and stock stall with that cam is gonna be a major turd.

Glad to hear BTR is swapoing it for you, you will be much happier with what they send you.

As has been pointed out, if your cam has enough overlap your idle MAP kpa will be high enough that the computer thinks you have a air leak and it will throw a code, I forget the code but if memory serves me right it’s like P0068 or something. You have to adjust the threasholds in the tune.

Yeah.... I really know the bare minimum about camshaft specifics! Haha

For whoever asked. Cam overlap-
(Intake Duration + Exhaust duration) / 2) - (LSA X 2)
(224+230)/2)-(112x2)
227-224
3 deg overlap

Or just use a online calculator.
