12 second 5.3 truck N/A? Possible?

rods and pistons are out of it. Going to change crank to one that has a 24x on it. Change the cam gear to 1x 3 bolt, relocate the sensors onto the side, and move cam sensor to the front. It'll be a little but I'm thinking about some ported 243's with TBSS intake to keep it simple(r) with the sensors but also to be a little cheaper than a new set of 823's. Just an idea. But anyways, converting the ls3 to be just like a gen 3 motor and run with my current harness and ECM. Is there ANY way to use the gen 3 valley cover with knock sensors instead of throwing them on the side of the block?

if your swapping cams you can get a 3 bolt cam, 3 bolt cam gear and any gen lll front timing cover and if your deleting the VVT i was told to drill and tap the holes under the valley cover for 1/4 pipe plugs

yeah i been dragging my feet on my swapping to, my cars been down for about 1 year now lol i have all the main parts just need a cam all gaskets and send my heads to get ported i get side tracked to easy lol
